Homestay English Tutor in China
About This Program
This opportunity is more than a typical childcare role. As a Homestay English Tutor, you'll be responsible for improving the English proficiency of children by implementing engaging and creative lessons while living with a Chinese host family.
Daily responsibilities include delivering planned English instruction, assisting with homework, providing childcare such as school drop-off and pick-up, arranging park visits, participating in family activities, and completing light household chores.
Placements are available in Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, or Guangzhou — some of China's most exciting cities. You'll experience authentic Chinese family life, enjoy home-cooked meals, participate in local holidays, and receive free weekly Mandarin lessons (8-15 hours).
